Breakfast Quinoa
For years my favorite breakfast was oatmeal, but even I need a change every so often! Once day I had some leftover quinoa in the refrigerator and threw this together….I may have found a new breakfast love. The perfect combination of warm, crunchy and a little bit sweet. Delish!!
Breakfast Quinoa
1 Cup cooked quinoa
1 tablespoon slivered almonds
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup blueberriesIn a small saucepan, toast the almonds until
Add the quinoa and milk and heat through. Remove from heat and top with blueberries.
*If you prefer your breakfast cereal sweet, you can add a drizzle of honey.
