In October 2001, after having smoked cigarettes for ten years, I decided it was time to quit. I successfully quit smoking at the end of that month and have never looked back. Unfortunately, despite my new exercise regimen, I still gained weight. In March 2004, I weighed 25 pounds more than I did in college. I decided that I needed a nutritionist to help lose the excess pounds. My doctor referred me to Hillary.

Hillary helped me come up with lots of meal and snack options, and stressed the importance of eating three balanced meals per day. I cut out the junk food and loaded up on fruits and vegetables. It worked, as the weeks and months went by, I was consistently losing weight. I had so much more energy and felt like I was getting so much more out of my workouts than when I had been heavier.
