One of my favorite ways to cook bok choy is in a stir fry. It’s quick, flavorful and best of all the entire family loves it!

Stir Fry

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 teaspoons olive oil

  • 3 carrot, cut into matchsticks

  • 2 cloves of garlic, sliced thin

  • 1 pound bok choy, cut into 2-3 inch pieces

  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets

  • juice of half an orange

  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Pour water and oil into a large saute pan or wok over medium heat. When hot, add the carrot and garlic and simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, for 3 minutes, then uncover and continue to cook for 2 more minutes until bok choy is cooked through.


We added in some shrimp, but it would also be delicious with chicken or extra firm tofu!
